A real quick post to say, that I changed my WordPress theme today.
It has changed from “blogs up” to “generate press”; it should look pretty similar so as not to impress.
I have been using WordPress for quite a while now, it fits my needs but the drama makes it feel ow!.
Looking other blogging software, can you suggest, an up to date platform that federates, and not an AI infused mess?
I have long looked at Hubzilla & Friendica, both seems OK, but the lack of example blog sites steer me away.
Are you considering a change from your blog, cus I hear Kev has long given up that slog.
Any suggestions would be warmly received, Thank you dear fediverse

I have been using the same theme for maaany years on most of my blogs J. I don’t like changes. If I found a theme that does what I need I will stick with it because “beautification” is not a team I was ever on. Over the years I modify the graphics in the theme whenever the “holly spirit takes me” and I get inspired. Sometimes I add a menu or an icon if I get a new service – but the fact is – I rarely change stuff once I find that I like it.
You’re a restless spirit. I am still shocked you started using WordPress. I thought it will be dropped after 3.5 seconds from the time you installed it – but you kept it. Maybe one day you shall find the perfect WordPress theme altho I suspect you will make one before you’ll find one…
