1st of June Carboot

I woke to a fantastically sunny day, It was a little chilly at 0700 but was nice and bright.

Being a Sunday, it was also time to get dressed and be on my way to the local car boot

As it was such a nice day, the carboot sale was huge, I was eager to see what bargains I could find

There was a LGA775 motherboard with a Q9600 and GTX275 from 2009, however at £20 for each, I can only assume the seller was firmly stuck at 2014 prices, another seller had a GTX260 from 2008 again with aspirations of achieving £20.

I also saw a USB 2.5″/3.5″ drive dock. again I felt was overpriced at £15

As I continued to walk I was interrupted by a seller who was waving an iPad frantically, however at his feet were 2 Dell Tiny’s, from his initial price of £15, we fixed on £8 for both, as they were not in the best of conditions.

As I continued onward I found a very clean looking Kolink Enclave Gold Rated fully modular ATX power supply – but without the cables, he agreed to £2 but now I need to locate some cables so I may test it…

My last purchase of the day was for 3 Apple products (some believe I may very slowly be becoming a fanboy ) I picked up 2 Apple Cinema Displays and a 20″ iMac G5 with iSight camera which emits a loud whine when power is applied (example below) but this goes once the power switch is pressed (capacitor?)

When power is applied the iMac makes this noise
